Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek
1195

Jiri is a trailhead of several trekking routes of Everest Region. It is a municipality of Dolakha District Nepal located 6,250 feet above from the sea level. Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek is also known as classic route to Everest. You can drive from Kathmandu to Jiri. However, due to the narrow roads, it may take about 6-8 hours to arrive in Jiri. Although it is not as challenging as Everest Base Camp route, you still need a professional guide, in addition to being mentally and physically fit. On your way you will be rewarded with numerous buddhist monasteries, alpine forests, glaciers, villages, and beautiful cultures and traditions of Sherpa people as well as other ethic groups.

Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek considering those people who want to deeply observe Himalayan life and diversity. We also offer 14 days’ Everest Base Camp Trek and 17 days’ Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo lakes, which are quite shorter than Jiri to Base Camp trek.
