Bhotekoshi River Rafting

2 Days

If you have only a few days to spend, then Bhotekoshi River Rafting may be your first choice to have great fun and adventure in Nepal. Zhangzangbo Glacier is the major source of Bhotekoshi River, which lies in Tibet, China. In Tibetan Language, Bhotekoshi is known as Poiqu. It is the upper river course of Sunkoshi River. Bhotekoshi gorge is really awesome and a bit dangerous as well.

Bhote refers the people who live in Bhot. Often the higher land of Himalaya Nepal and Tibet is called Bhot.  Bhotekoshi flows through a very steep path, which is why its movement is very fast. Summer season is often considered the best season for rafting in Bhotekoshi River.
