§Naya Kanga Peak is considered as a difficult peak to climb. However, it is just 5844 m high from the sea level. Mostly, the climbers choose north-east ridge to climb this mountain. In order to reach on this peak, we have to pass through the popular Langtang Valley. Langtang Valley is sorrounded by snow-capped high mountain peaks. You can see full of geographical diversity from Langtang Valley to Gosainkunda, and this is the attracting point of many tourists.

First Environmental Trekking organizes Naya Kanga Peak Climbing trip offering 14 days itinerary. However, if you wish, we can customize the trip days as possible as we can.

Day 1

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1503 m), which takes about ten hours.

Day 2
Day 2

Trek from Syabrubesi (1503 m) to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 3
Day 3

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.) via Ghore Tabela which takes about six hours.

Day 4
Day 4

Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.) which takes about three hours.

Day 5
Day 5

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around.

Day 6
Day 6

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Yak Kharka (4600m) and it takes about five hours.

Day 7
Day 7

Trek from Yak Kharka (4600 m) to Naya Kang High Camp (4987 m.), which takes about five hours.

Day 8
Day 8

Summit Naya Kang peak (5844 m) and climb back to Yak Kharka (4600 m) and it takes about ten hours.

Day 9
Day 9

Trek from Yak Kharka (4600 m) to Langtang village (3430m.) which takes about six hours.

Day 10
Day 10

Trek from Langtang village (3430m.) to Lama Hotel, which takes about six hours.

Day 11
Day 11

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi, which takes about seven hours.

Day 12
Day 12

Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu, which takes about nine hours.

Price Includes

  • Government certified Climbing Guide.
  • Naya Kanga Peak Climbing Permit Fee
  • Necessary Porters (A porter is provided to two persons, and can carry upto 20 Kilos)
  • Entry permits for Langtang Conservation Area
  • Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card
  • Necessary transport by Bus.
  • All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) only for our guide and porters during the trek and climbing period
  • Accommodation in partly tea houses (lodges) and Partly climbing only for our guide and porters during the trek and climbing

  • Emergency Mountain Medical Rescue Insurance (Provided by your insurance company please buy in your country, you could not buy in Nepal)
