Baruntse Peak (7,152 m)

21 Days

Baruntse Peak Climbing (7,152 m) is a long day climbing trip, takes about 21 days to climb. Like Island Peak and Mera Peak, it is also one of the best peaks to climb for adventure seekers; it is located in Khumbu region of Nepal, right in the middle of two great sibling peaks – Lhotse and Makalu. This peak was first climbed by two Kiwis: Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow in May 1954 from the south route. There is also another route to climb from South East of Baruntse, which is more difficult than the south route because of its eminent icy path and its higher altitude.
