Tsum Valley Trekking is the hidden treasure of Nepal. It is a holy land of happiness. It is located in the northern part of Gorkha and is enclosed by Boudha Himal, Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal and Sringi Himal. Opened to tourists only recently, it is a lesser explored region in comparison to other tourist areas. Trekking in Tsum valley gives you the chance to discover the secret of Tibetan culture, Buddhism, ancient art and rich cultural heritage sites at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys.
The trekking route features ancient Buddhist Gompas like Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa and Milarepa’s cave. The local people, who are mostly of Tibetan origin, speak their own dialect and are very hospitable.
Note:
Trekkers planning to travel to controlled areas in Nepal opened for group trekking need to get trekking permit issued by the Department of Immigration under the Home Ministry. The govern-ment has opened following previously restricted trekking areas for the group trekkers. Trekking permits will not be issued to individual trekkers in those trekking areas. Require minimum 2 Pax to do this trekking because it is a restricted area.
