Jomsom Muktinath trek is a part of Annapurna trek. It is located at the lower part of Mustang called Lower Mustang at an altitude of 3,749m. It is a very popular trek compared to other treks because it is a simple trek and can be done all through the year as it lies behind the mountains and falls under rain shadow area. You get to enjoy spectacular views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) ranges in this trek. This route actually crosses the Himalayan range to provide you with some magnificent views of the northern flanks. Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Phedi (1130 m.) and trek from Phedi to Pothana which takes about five hours.
Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk (1940m.) which takes about six hours.
Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2650m.) and it takes about four hours.
Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2853m.) which takes about five hours.
Trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani (1189m.) which takes about seven and half hours.
Drive from Tatopani to Ghasa (2010m) which takes about five hours.
Trek from Ghasa to Marpha (2670m) which takes about 6 hours .
Trek from Marpha to Kagbeni (2897m.) via Jomsom (2713m.) and it takes about five hours.
Trek Kagbeni to Muktinath (3795 m.) which takes about 4 hours. And enjoying the view and worship the pooja in Muktinath temple then drive back to jomsom by bus which takes 2 hours.
Fly from early morning 6:30 AM Jomsom to Pokhara which takes about 20 minutes and same day fly Pokhara to Kathmandu it takes about 25 minutes .
