Situated in the western part of Nepal in the Gorkha District, Larkya peak climbing is a rigorous journey to complete. Larkya Peak climbing starts with a scenic drive to Arughat Bazaar from Kathmandu. The trail follows the Soti Khola and crosses many small villages like Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaon, and Samdo on the way. We will also cross many green lush forests with the views of high mountains on our way. The local villages on the way offer us to explore their culture and customs, monasteries, prayer flags, the prayer wheel, and prayer walls. On summiting the Larkya peak the magnificent views of the high mountains renders the trek to be fascinating and unforgettable. As Larkya Peak is one of the least climbed the peaks in Nepal, mountaineers and adventure seekers fancy the journey to the peak to quench their thirst for the adrenaline rush and exhilarating climb. The trail, being difficult and challenging, one needs the good level of fitness with prior mountaineering experience. The peak climbing journey takes you through villages with massive Buddhist faith and Tibetan-influenced culture to the top of a magnificent peak in the Manaslu region all the while never failing to amaze you with the rich bio-diversity in the route along the trek.

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel.

Day at Kathmandu: Preparation for Trek & Expedition. O/N night hotel

Day 03 :

Katmandu-Gorkha-Kalikasthan (1300m) (156km). It will take 5 hrs in a bus and 1 hr of walking and O/N local guest house.

Day 04 :
Day 4

Kalikasthan-Dhuteni (850m), 7/8 hrs walking and O/N at local guest house.

Day 05 :
Day 5

Dhuteni-Barpak (2000m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at a local guest house.

Day 06 :
Day 6

Barpak-Laprak (2200m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 07 :

Laprak-Khorlalbensi (1000m), 7/8hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 08 :

Khorla Bensi-Jagat (1300m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 09 :

Jagat – Pewa (1900m), 5/6hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 10 :

Pewa-Ghap (2400m), 5/6hrs walking and O/N at camp

Ghap – Lo Gaon (2800m), 5/6hrs walking and O/N at camp.

Lo Gaon – Sama Gaon (3400m), 4/5hrs walking and O/N at camp.

Sama Gaon-Samdo (3800m), 3/4hrs walking and O/N at camp.

Day 14 :

Samdo: Rest day. Climb up to 4000m for acclimatizing.

Day 15 :

Samdo-Larke Glacier, (Daramshala) (4400m) 3/4hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 17 :

Larke Glacier-Bhimtang (3800m), 8/9hrs walking (Larke – La 5315m.) and O/N at camp

Day 18 :
Day 22

Bhimtang-Tilje (2300m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at camp

Day 19 :
Day 23

Tilje – Jagat (1300m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at camp.

Day 20 :
Day 24

Jagat – Bhulbule (800m), 6/7hrs walking and O/N at camp.

Day 21 :
Day 25

Bhulbhule – Kathmandu in bus (10hrs). We continue in bus following the Marshyangdi River and then the Trishuli.

Cost Includes

  • All surface transfers as per itinerary.
