Trip Introduction

Saribung Peak Climbing is recently announced mountain expedition ideal for the mountaineer those who want to use different level of skills and expertise during climbing. On the way you can have some challenges due to altitude variation and remoteness of the area. Long and stretched dry rugged terrain and glacier with couple of sections of fixed line requiring the use of a jumar.

Saribung (6346m) located in isolated area of Damodar Himal, near Damodarkund border with Tibet. Only a few of climbers were able to reach to the summit.

This is the combination of high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures.

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu – Bhulbhule It takes around 5 Hrs with reserve private vehicle and 8 Hrs on Lopcal Bus (via Besi Sahar to Nadi)

Day 2: Trek from Nadi to Jagat.

Day 3: Trek from Jagat to Koto.

Day 4: Trek from Koto to Meta.

Day 5: Trek from Meta to Kyang

Day 6: Trek from Kyang to Phu.

Day 7: Phu- Rest Day

Day 8: Trek from Phu to Yak Karka.

Day 9: Trek from Yak Karka to BC Brikuti.

Day 10: Climb from BC Brikuti to BC Saribung (5240m.).

Day 11: Climb from BC Saribung (5240m.)  to C1 (6346m)

Day 12: From C1 to BC Saribung (5240m.)

Day 13: Climb down from BC Saribung to Phu

Day 14: Trek from Phu to Meta

Day 15: Trek from Meta to Koto.

Day 16:  Trek Koto – Dharapani.

Day 17: Trek Dharapani – Bhulbhule

Day 18: Drive Bhulbhule – Besisahar to Kathmandu.

Price Includes

  • Climbing Sherpa (Who has been familiar in that area, he has been to that place with other trekkers and climbers many times before)

  • Necessary Porter (1 Porter carry up to 20 Kg)

  • All surface transportation by bus wherever applicable.
