Spring (March-May):

The temperature during this season is mildly warm in the lowlands and moderate at higher altitudes, with plenty of opportunities for beholding magnificent mountain views. This season offers different varieties of wild flora, along with the giant rhododendrons above 3000m and colorful hills and mountainsides throughout the spring.

Summer (June-August):

During this time, the weather is hot and wet in Nepal. It rains almost every day with occasional heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Ideal for trekking in selected rain shadow (No rainfall) areas north of the Himalaya, like Upper Mustang, Nar-Phu valley and Dolpo.

Autumn (September-November):

This is considered the best tourist season in Nepal with the summer gone by and the winter to set in. With moderate temperature and a clear blue sky, it makes for a pleasant time to do trekking. This is the peak season for trekking since views of the mountains are guaranteed.

Winter (December-February):

The weather is cold and dry with a clear blue sky and usually snowfall in the higher elevations. This season is suitable for trekking in lower elevations and enjoying incredible sceneries.
