Trip Introduction

Naya Kanga Peak is considered as a difficult peak to climb. However, it is just 5844 m high from the sea level. Mostly, the climbers choose north-east ridge to climb this mountain. In order to reach on this peak, we have to pass through the popular Langtang Valley. Langtang Valley is sorrounded by snow-capped high mountain peaks. You can see full of geographical diversity from Langtang Valley to Gosainkunda, and this is the attracting point of many tourists.

First Environmental Trekking organizes Naya Kanga Peak Climbing trip offering 14 days itinerary. However, if you wish, we can customize the trip days as possible as we can.

We will quote prices according to your requirement. Larger the group size lesser the price will be.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1966m.)

Day 02: Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581m.) which takes about five and half hours.

Day 03: Trek from Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.) via Ghore Tabela which takes about six hours.

Day 05:  Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.) which takes about three hours.

Day 06: Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around.

Day 07: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Nyengang Kharka (4430m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 08: Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Naya Kang High Camp (4960m.) which takes about four hours.

Day 09: Rest at Naya Kang High Camp. This is an acclimatization day so that you can make preparation for Naya Kang summit.

Day 10: Summit Naya Kang peak and climb back to Nyengang Kharka and it takes about ten hours.

Day 11: Trek from Nyengang Kharka to Kyangjin Gompa which takes about four hours.

Day 12: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel and it takes about six hours.

Day 13: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon which takes about five hours.

Day 14: Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about nine hours.


Price Includes

  • A climbing guide
  • Necessary porters including a cook and a kitchen helper (one porter can carry the luggage up to 20 kilograms)
  • Langtang National Park Entry Permit.
  • Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card
  • All surface transportation by Bus.
  • All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) only for our staffs
  • Accommodation in Lodges during the trek and partly camp only for our staffs
  • Necessary trekking equipment such as sleeping bag, down jacket,tent,matresses,cooking utensils etc.
  • Insurance, Medical Assistance and Equipment for Nepali staffs.
  • Mountain Medical Rescue Assitance (Provided by your insurance company)
  • Climbing peak permit for Naya Kanga Peak
  • Equipment fee for 1 climbing sirdar
  • Airport pick up and drop services

Price Excludes

  • All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for you during the trekking and climbing
  • Accommodation in Lodges during the trek and partly camp for you during the trekking and climbing
  • Garbage disposal deposit US$ 500. But this amount is refundable to you after your arrival from the trek.
  • Personal nature expenses such as drinks, hot shower, battery charges, beverages etc.
