Trip Introduction

Manaslu Trek combined Tsum Valley Trek is the hidden Treasure of Nepal it is vivid holy land of happiness. It is valley located in northern part of Gorkha enclosed by Boudha Himal, Himal chuli, Ganesh Himal and Sringi Himal. It is recently open with less exposed in comparison to other touristy areas and one of world’s outmost Himalayan Valleys. Trekking Tsum valley is discovering the secret of Tibetan culture, Buddhism, ancient art and rich cultural heritage sited at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys.

the trekking route follows with ancient Budhist Gompas like Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa and Milarepa’s cave are on the way. With the great hospitality of local people mostly Tibetan origin & speak their own dialect.

Day 01: From Kathmandu drive to Arughat Bazaar by bus which takes about eight hours and trek to Arkhet Bazar which takes about two hours.

Day 02: Trek from Arkhet Bazar to Machha Khola and it takes about six hours.

Day 03: Trek from Machha Khola to Yaru khola which takes about six hours.

Day 04: Trek from Yaru khola to Lokpa and it takes about seven hours.

Day 05: Trek from Lokpa to Chumling (Lower Tsum) which takes about five hours.

Day 06: Trek from Chumling to Chhokangparo (Upper Tsum) and it takes about seven hours.

Day 07: Trek from Chhokangparo to Nile/Chhule, visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave on the way and it takes about five hours.

Day 08: Trek from Nile/Chhule to Mu Gompa (3700 m), visit Dhephyudonma Gompa (4060 m) which takes about five hours.

Day 09: Trek from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa, visit Gonhgye Gompa (Nyigma-pa Buddhist sect) and it takes about five hours.

Day 10: Trek from Rachen Gompa to Dumje which takes about seven hours.

Day 11: Trek from Dumje to Philim (cross Ripchet) and it takes about eight hours.

Day 12: Trek Philim to Deng (2095m.) and it takes about six hours.

Day 13: Trek Deng to Lhogaon (3100m.) via Namrung (2900m.). it takes about eight hours.

Day 14: Trek Lhogaon to Samdo (3690m.) via Samagaon (3390m.) which takes about eight hours.

Day 15: Rest day in Samdo and enjoying the view over there.

Day 16: Trek from Samdo to Larkya La Phedi (4460m.) which takes about three hours.

Day 17: Trek from Larkya La Phedi to Larkya La (Pass) (5135m.) to Bimthang (3590 m.) and it takes about seven hours.

Day 18: Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani (1860 m.) which takes about four hours.

Day 19: Drive from Dharapani to Besishahar via Jagat (1800m). which takes about five hours.

Day 20: Drive from Besishahar to Kathmandu


Price Includes

  • Manasalu special trekking permit.
  • Tsum valley special trekking permit.
  • Entry permits for Manasalu Conservation Area
  • Entry permits for Annapurna Conservation Area
  • A guide
  • All surface transportation to the starting point and from the ending point of the trek by local bus.
  • All meals three times a day as per Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for our Nepali staff.
