Trip Introduction

Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) is proud to be standing as the 8 highest Mountain of the World, Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) lies in west-central part of Nepal. Manaslu (meaning in Nepali “mountain of the spirit”) local people around that region has some spiritual value over the mountain. Manaslu was first climbed by members of a Japanese expedition on May 9, 1956 by Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu. Since then it known as Japanese mountain.
Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the most selling and offering trek from Nepal. If you want to see the Tibetan culture in Nepal, of course, you have to go to Manaslu valley. Hindu – Tibetan culture, wildlife, stunning and snow-capped mountain scenario, greenery of forests are the major fascinating elements of Manaslu Circuit Trekking. The one feature which makes people eager to trek in Manaslu circuit is that Manaslu Valley/Tsum valley is a privileged region for foreign tourists. This trek is one of the easier trek which is followed by the Gorge of the river Budhi Gandaki. Every year, nearly 2000 – 3000 people complete Manaslu Circuit Trek.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazar (608 m), change bus than drive to Soti Khola (700 m).

 

Day 02: Trek from Soti Khola (700 m) to Machh Khola (869 m), It takes about 6 to 7 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Village, Small water fall, Budi Gandaki river, Monkey (Langur and other)

 

Day 03: Trek from Machh Khola (869 m) to Jagat (1340 m), It takes about 6 to 7 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: North East view of Ganesh Himal, Village view, Hot Spring,

 

Day 04: Trek from Jagat (1340 m) to Deng (1860 m), It takes about 6 to 7 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Mountain view of Sringi Himal, Trek splitting point of Tsum Valley Trek and Manaslu.

 

Day 05: Trek from Deng (1860 m) to Namrung (2630 m), It takes about 5 to 6 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Mountain view of Sringi Himal, Ganesh Himal range, Lapchun Himal and Lapyang Himal.

 

Day 06: Trek from Namrung (2630 m) to Lho (3180 m), It takes about 4 to 5 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Mountain view of Himalchuli, Manaslu, Manaslu North, Naike.

 

Day 07: Trek from Lho (3180 m) to Sama Gau (3520 m), It takes about 3 and Half to 4 and half Hours.

Features: Mountain view of Himalchuli, Manaslu, Manaslu North, Naike, Larkey,

 

Day 08: Rest Day at Sama Gau (3520 m), Look around and enjoy the Nepali typical community.

Features: Look around Birendra Tal, Manaslu Glacier, Pung Gyen Gompa.

 

Day 09: Trek from Sama Gau (3520 m) to Samdo (3875 m), It takes about 3 and Half to 4 and half Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Mountain view of Manaslu, Naike, Samdo Himal, Pangbuche Peak

 

Day 10: Trek from Samdo (3875 m) to Dharamsala (4460 m), It takes about 3 and Half to 4 and half Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend

Features: Mountain view of Manaslu, Naike, Samdo Himal, Larkya Peak, Lajyung Himal.

 

Day 11: Trek from Dharamsala (4460 m) via Larkyala Pass (5160 m) to Bimthang (3590 m), It takes about 8 to 9 Hours.

Trek Style: Ascend 4 Hours and Descent 4 Hours.

Features: Mountain view of Kangguru, Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkey Peak, Namjung Himal, Ratna Chuli.

 

Day 12: Trek from Bimthang (3590 m) to Dharapani (1963 m), It takes about 6 to 7Hours.

Trek Style: Descent

Features: Mountain view of Lamjung and Manaslu, Phungi, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Rock Shelter cave

 

Day 13: Drive from Dharapani (1963 m) to Beshi Sahar (760 m), It takes about 6 Hours.

 

Day 14: Drive from Beshi Sahar (760 m) to Kathmandu (1400 m), It takes about 6 Hours.
