Trip Introduction

The great Everest is located in the Northern east side of Nepal (Khumbu Region/Solukhumbu), is a dream adventure trip of every adventure seekers because it is the highest mountain of the world which altitude is 8848m (29029ft). The initial name of Mount Everest is XV peak, later it was named as Mount Everest. Mount Everest was first climbed by Edmund Hillary (Newzealand) and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa (Nepal) in 1953. In Nepali, Mt. Everest is called “Sagarmatha” which means “the head of sky”. Several mountaineers had attempted the mount everest climbing before the Edmund HIllary and Tenzing Norgay, but all of them either returned from the mid of the trip or they died. Mostly Sherpa people who are the origin of Himalayan have succeeded to climb the Mt. Everest because they are very much familiar with climate and weather of Himalaya.

Most often, Everest Climbing are made during the April, May and June, which is most suitable season for climbers. In this time, ice fall is lower in Himalayan.

Basically, Everest Climbing has two popular routes – one is southeast ridge and another is north ridge. Southeast ridge is from Nepal, and north ridge from Tibet side. But you must take permission of Nepal Government to climb Everest whether your choose to climb from Southeast ridge or North Ridge because the Everest is located in Nepal.

It is said that southeast ridge is easier than north ridge, that is why we mostly suggest you to choose southeast ridge. This expedition is actually started from Lukla airport which is also known as Tenzing Hillary Airport. We move from Lukla to base camp trip having lodge and tea house accommodation. It takes nearly 9 days to reach on Everest Base Camp I. Over the 9 days trek, you can enjoy the typical sherpas customs and cultures along with several snow-capped mountain views, greenery’s of Himalayan forests and zigzag paths. Meanwhile you can realize the difficult life style of Sherpa/Himalayan people. This makes your trip also exploring trail.
