Trekking & Expedition. Trekking Peak Climbing is
one of the most popular and successful adventure
programs for among the adventure lovers of the
world. To make this program more friendly and
successful, there are more than 30 minor
trekking peaks open for climbing under Nepal
Mountaineering Association.
The climbing of these peaks are controlled under
the rules and regulations formulated by this
Association. To climb this beautiful but
challenging trekking peak one should need a
permit and experienced climbing guide and should
go through the registered trekking companies of
Nepal. It is true that the previous experience
is not necessary to climb the Trekking Peak.
However, you must be prepared mentally as well
as physically for this adventurous expedition.

Mera Peak

Max altitude : 6654m.
The Mera peak trek (6476m) is famed for the
being the biggest trekking peak in Nepal, though
there is little technical difficulty required to
climb. Mera Peak rises to the South of Everest
and dominates the beautiful and remote valleys
of Hinku and Hongu.

Singu Chuli Peak

Singu Chuli (6,501 m) was formerly known as
Fluted Peak. The first ascent of this peak was
made by Wilf Noyce and David Cox on its
North–East Face and the top section of the East

Tharpu Chuli Peak

Max altitude : 6015m.
This magnificent peak rises as a giant shoulder
of shining ice and snow. This is a conical peak
on the northern side of Thapa( Dhampus )Pass and
generally snow covered but not alpine in nature
i.e. no crevasses.

Pokhalde and Khongma Tse Peak

Max altitude : 5806m.
Pokhalde (5,806 m) was first climbed in 1953 via
the Kongma La along its north ridge by the 1953
Everest Expedition team led by John Hunt.
Pokhalde looks like a crenulated rocky ridge
dominated by the vast bulk of Nuptse when seen
from Nuptse.
