Located in a culturally rich and naturally
pristine enviornment, Park Village is not just a
hotel but a true resort established in an
exclusive rural setting within the metropolis of
urban Kathmandu.
It is located in an "exclusive neighborhood" of
Budanil-Kantha which is also known as "Beverly
Hills of Kathmandu". The hotel is only 15
minutes drive from down town Kathmandu and 12
minutes from the International airport. It is
close to nature yet so near from the city. It is
truly a place "Far from the Maddening Crowd".
Spread in 5 acres of wooded land, each building
is individually designed in vernacular
architecture blended in a Mediterranean
neo-classical style. All rooms face south and
have two private balconies to watch the evening
glow of Kathmandu Metropolis with the
magnificent sunset in the south-west and the
"flickering lights of hamlets to the north".
The garden in Park Village harbors more than two
thousand flowering trees and shrubs along with
varieties of butterflies, dragonflies and nearly
75 species of birds. On warm summer nights, the
garden sparkles bright with flickering
fireflies..
"Earthwatch" Restaurant, "Machan bar" with
Fireplace, Tennis Court, Physical Fitness and
Recreational Center, Swimming Pool, Ayurved and
Natureopathy services are also under
construction and will be completed by the end of
this year. Under constructions are 300 pax
