First Environmental Trekking has employed over
40 dedicated professionals (office and non
office staffs) to work in a variety of
administrative sections.
The administrative team headed by Mr. Thakur Raj
Pandey, the Managing Director, comprises of
various following sections. |

Thakur Raj Pandey (Managing Director) |
His long years
of national and international experience in tourism
sector have helped him to lead his company as a
Managing Director. He was born in Dhading and has
completed his graduation in Anthropology and
Political Science from Tribhuvan University.
He entered in tourism in 1993 as entrepreneur and
since very beginning contributed tremendously for
development of eco-tourism and village tourism. His
international experience in countries such as
Thailand, Singapore, China (Tibet), Bhutan and India
and some countries of Europe like Belgium, France,
The Netherlands, German and few other countries has
granted him tremendous opportunities to |
study the ethics and nature of global tourism and to
have corporate relationship with tourism
entrepreneurs in these countries.
Being vehement supporter of eco-tourism since
beginning, he is well motivated towards Eco-friendly
practices. His aim is to help protect and preserve
this beautiful environment for future generations of
trekkers to enjoy. He ensures that all porters and
all other staff going above the tree line are
provided with adequate clothing and equipment. He
has offered the facility to provide life insurance
and emergency helicopter evacuation for his staff. |

Ganesh Prasad Simkhada (Executive Director) |
Another strong pillar of First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. is Mr. Ganesh Prasad Simkhada whose philosophy is based on conserving natural and cultural diversity. His in depth knowledge of trekking, climbing and other adventure programs and customer handling enhance the level of the service of the company.
As he was born in north part of Dhading district of Nepal he keeps great passion for the Himalayas. He holds academic degrees such Bachelor in Law and Bachelor in Education from Tribhuvan
University. |
It
was 1993 when he entered into tourism as an
entrepreneur and then he went on gaining popularity
through his good work in tourism. What has made him
prominent is his long years experience and his visit
to countries such as Japan, India, Thailand, China
(Tibet), Bhutan, England, Scotland, Ireland and few
others.
He guarantees that First Environmental Trekking (P.)
Ltd. offers adventurous activities which are well
equipped, offers optimum safety, and provides guides
who have first hand knowledge of the routes, natural
history and cultural background. The fact that he
supports cultural tourism is best proved by the
particularly designed packages for cultural tourism
and the initiative taken in his leadership by the
company. |

Geeta Sharma (Correspondence
Officer and City Tour guide) |
She ventured
into tourism after she completed her Master of Arts
in English Literature. However, she had inclination
towards the tourism line and stepped into this
sector at the first opportunity that came her way.
She has traveled to most of the South Asian
Countries and is well acquainted with people and
cultures of these countries.
She is the main contact to handle queries related to
trekking, tours, climbing or any other outdoor
adventure activities in Nepal, Tibet Bhutan and
India. She is well versed in taking care of
issues/questions/ |
any
information related to traveling to above mentioned
places. In addition, she handles the Sales
Department of the Company and is responsible for
handling Agents enquiries, making proposals, working
out tailor made itineraries to suit to the need of
each individual client.

Nagendra
Acharya (Accountant) |
He
has been working in this company as an accountant
since two years. He is a very energetic and
professional. He is pursuing his BBS from Tribhuwan
University with account as major subject. He can
speak Nepali, English, Hindi and Spanish as well. As an
account he has taken the responsibility of managing
all accountants of the company in carrying out
various responsibilities like posting bills,
preparing budget for the tour / trek and handling
payments etc. |

GUIDE AND PORTER HIRING
This option of the trek is for those who want basic
support from us. This is the most economic way to do
trekking in Nepal. We can provide you an English speaking
guide, a guide cum porter and porters only as per your
interest and requirements. The trekkers pay for meals
directly to the local lodge owner. This option works only
in certain routes in Everest, Langtang, Annapurna regions
where trekking routes are served by local tea house or
lodges. Entire arrangement is exactly same as Tea House
except you pay for your own meals. We take care of all
expenses of our staff.
