Dolpo is also called "Ba Yul" or the Hidden valley is a land of mystery, scenery and peace. Surrounded by Dhaulagiri and Tibet from south and north, The Dolpo region is the natural embodiment of high passes, rare flora and fauna and sweeping vistas. The medicinal plant, Yarchagumba (Coerdiopsis sinensis) a type of wild mushroom is found in abundance in this region. Extracts from Yarchagumba is believed to significantly improve health and fitness. This trekking is for combination of natural and cultural phenomena which is enriched by the traditional Tibetan cultural heritage. It is a rain shadow area and was opened in 1991 for trekking. The whole trekking areas in this region stretches through and around Arun River whose origin dates back to prehistoric period. The Arun valley is one of the most beautiful regions to trek in Nepal.
Dolpo is protected by Shey-Phoksundo National Park. It lies to the north of the Dhaulagiri Range bordering the Tibetan Plateau. Here one can find a well-preserved eco-system of plants and wildlife, including the blue sheep and the elusive snow leopard. The view of Kanjiroba peak, Phoksumdo Lake, and the Dhauligiri massif is one of the most rewarding moments of this trek. A visit to the Phoksumdo Gompa – dedicated to the ancient Bonpo religion, local to Dolpo and Tibet, is a memorable experience.

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Beni which takes about eleven hours.
Day 02 : Trek from Beni (770m.) to Tara Khet (970m.)via Singa Bazaar (850m.) which takes about seven hours.
Day 03 : Trek from Tara Khet to Danyga Khola (1125m.) and it takes about six hours.
Day 04 : Trek from Danyga Khola to Dharapani (1470m.) which takes about six hours.
Day 05 : Trek from Dharapani to Muna (1850m.) via Sibang (1610m.) and it takes about six hours.

How can I enter in Nepal?

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. At least, you need to spend one or two nights in Kathmandu before and after your trip. We can arrange your hotel accommodation in Kathmandu as per your interest and budget.
Can I do Beni Dolpo Trek?
Beni Dolpo trek is suitable for any trekker looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. It does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. You need to be moderately fit and normally healthy. It is good if you do some exercise before you come to Nepal for trekking.
When should I come for Beni Dolpo Trek?
February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November are the best seasons. However, July & August are okay and trekking can be done but not so clear visibility due to rain.
Do I need to join with group?
It is not necessary; you have to join with group and follow our group departure date, because private trip departures everyday upon your
request and requirements. You can move at your own pace and set your own schedule by not being in group.
What kind of accommodation I can have during the trip?
In Kathmandu, we can provide any category of hotels you want as per your interest and budget and during the trekking, we provide you guest house which is called Tea house. Tea Houses are more like hotels, with hot showers, western food, and private rooms (twin sharing). In this arrangement overnight halts with dinner and breakfast will be in Tea-houses (Lodges) and lunches in local restaurants en-route.
Furthermore as you will be staying in locally owned lodges you will be benefiting and interacting with the local community. It will give you a true feel for the Nepalese people and their lives.
What kind of meals I can have during the trek?
All Meals on full board basis will be provided during trekking. You have to choose from menu. Freshly cooked food is served at all times (western, continental and Nepali meals are available in all places). Three meals a day will be provided.
Do I have pre-departure meeting?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduction of your trek guide and porters.
Can I charge camera batteries along the trek?
Yes, Most of the places, you can charge batteries along the trek (per hour USD 2-3 for charging).
Can I extend my holiday?
